5 weeks to launch: COVID-19 risk management group launched

With just 5 weeks to go until the official launch of the Risk Leadership Network, we’ve been busy testing and finalising the services that will be available to Members post launch.

From 29th April, Members will gain access to a brand new Member Portal providing easy access to: Intelligence, a peer-contributed content platform; Expert Network, a range of collaborative conference calls and private messaging groups; and Network Assistance, a dedicated network manager on hand to help with specific challenges.

Dedicated COVID-19 private messaging group 

The Risk Leadership Network was founded to facilitate collaboration between risk managers, and the challenges presented by COVID-19 are a timely reminder of the benefits of knowledge sharing in the risk community. 

Responding to requests from Founder Members, we brought forward the launch of our private messaging platform to create a dedicated COVID-19 risk management group last week.

The group is enabling Members to find out what others are doing and share resources as they grapple with the various challenges posed by the outbreak.

New Advisory Board members

We’re delighted to announce that both Sarah Gordon and Adrian Clements have joined the Risk Leadership Network’s Advisory Board.

Sarah, now CEO of Satarla, was previously head of assurance (Africa) and risk analysis (Sustainability and Technical) at Anglo American. Adrian, now president of AT-IPIC, previously worked in senior corporate risk management roles at Tereos and ArcelorMittal.
