At Risk Leadership Network (a wholly owned entity of Gambit Media Limited) we conduct business to high ethical standards. We expect all of our business partners, employees, agents and contractors to comply with all applicable laws, to act ethically and with integrity and in accordance with the business principles set out below.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption

RLN does not tolerate bribery and corruption. To comply with bribery laws, we must avoid making or receiving any “improper payments” either directly or indirectly to or from another commercial party, government employee or official and keep accurate books and records so that any payments are honestly described and not used for unlawful purposes.

An “improper payment” is giving someone a financial or other advantage to encourage that person to perform their functions or activities improperly or to reward that person for having already done so.

As part of this we will ensure that all gifts and hospitality given or received are reasonable and proportionate to the situation.

Competition and Fair Dealing

RLN competes vigorously, but also fairly and in compliance with competition and antitrust laws. When representing RLN, we shall act with professionalism, honesty and integrity. Our conduct will be fair and transparent. RLN shall avoid all arrangements which constitute unfair trade practices.

Conflicts of Interest

RLN expects its employees to act in the interests of RLN and avoid any actual or potential conflicts of interest.

Confidentiality, Data Privacy and Information Management

RLN are committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data relating to our employees, customers, consumers and business partners, and to complying with all laws that regulate how we handle such information. At all times confidentiality must be maintained and all staff are collectively and individually responsible for information security and are expected to comply with RLN’s information security requirements.

Social media platforms and services are valuable tools however care must be taken when using them. Employees must: exercise personal integrity, professionalism and responsibility; respect RLN’s intellectual property rights and those of third parties; only represent or speak on behalf of the organisation if they have authority to do so; and not share confidential information or other protected information.

Equal Opportunities

RLN respects the human rights and dignity of all people who work with us. At RLN we are committed to treating all who work with us with respect, supporting equality and diversity and without discrimination.

Health, Safety & Environment

At RLN safety will not be compromised. We strive to provide a safe, healthy and clean working environment for our employees and all those who work with us. RLN strives for environmental sustainability and complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Non-Facilitation of Tax Avoidance

We expect all our staff, contractors, suppliers and other business partners to join us in our commitment not to facilitate tax evasion. Tax evasion is the illegal non-payment or under-payment of taxes. It is usually perpetrated by not declaring or falsely declaring taxes due to the relevant tax authority.

Reporting Concerns

Suspected violations of this Code will be promptly investigated and appropriate remedial actions taken when violations are discovered. We support anyone raising concerns in good faith.

If you learn about or suspect anyone has violated the Code or otherwise acted unethically or illegally, it is important that you promptly report your concerns.
