You’ve got a third-party risk process. Suppliers complete the questionnaire, Procurement files the answers, and the box gets ticked. But if your most critical supplier failed tomorrow, would you know what that means for the business?
That gap between checking third parties and being resilient to them is the one our members raise most.
In this session, RLN’s engagement team will share how risk leaders are tackling the five problems below, and what they’d do differently. You’ll leave with practical ideas to take back, whether you’re building a framework from scratch or fixing one that isn’t working.
There will be time for questions, and to hear about upcoming opportunities to collaborate with peers on your own third-party risk priorities.

In this Talk, we’ll look at how peers are tackling:
Who owns it? Procurement runs the relationships, Risk sets the appetite, but clear accountability and responsibility is often an obstacle to success.
What counts as critical? You can’t assess everyone equally, but defining the line is harder than it sounds.
How do you get a board-level view? Dozens of supplier risks, scored differently, need to become one material picture, including shared dependencies further down the chain.
How do you get buy-in? If the business sees TPRM as admin, it will find ways around it.
How do you assure what you can’t see? Self-attestation has limits, especially with smaller suppliers or cyber exposure.

About Risk Leadership Network
Risk Leadership Network is a global network for risk leaders at non-financial companies, designed specifically to facilitate peer collaboration and knowledge sharing.
We aren't consultants or service providers; instead, we work closely with members on a bespoke basis to deliver practical insights, primarily through facilitated virtual meetings and in-depth benchmarking.
We're facilitating this talk to share the knowledge from our network of members. As a member, we would arrange a collaboration on a topic of your choice, at a time/date of your choice, with peers of your choice.
